The terms governing use of Here's New, including acceptable use, sponsored listing rules, intellectual property, disclaimers and liability.

By accessing Here's New (heresnew.com), including the installable web app and any exported feeds, you agree to these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

1. The service

Here's New is an independent directory that indexes publicly published release, update and scheduled-event information, and publishes original editorial guidance about how release information works. We provide it as-is and as-available. We do not guarantee that any entry is complete, current or accurate, and the linked primary source is always authoritative over anything recorded here.

2. Accounts

You may browse without an account. If you create one, you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to register. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

3. Acceptable use and content standards

The directory is intended to be suitable for a general audience aged approximately ten and above. When submitting listings or comments you must not post:

  • Profanity, sexually explicit material, graphic violence, gore, or content promoting gambling or illegal drugs.
  • Content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory or that infringes anyone's rights.
  • Malware, phishing links, or links to deceptive or harmful destinations.
  • Misleading claims about a product, service or organisation, or impersonation of any person or brand.
  • Automated bulk submissions, scraped content, or content posted to manipulate search rankings.

Submissions pass through automated filters and human moderation. Content breaching these standards is removed, and repeat or serious breaches result in permanent account suspension without refund.

4. Sponsored listings

  • Every listing is published free for an initial ten-day period and is labelled 'Sponsored' for its entire lifetime.
  • Listings expire at the end of the free period unless a subscription is active.
  • Continuing a listing beyond the free period requires a recurring subscription processed by Stripe, which renews every 30 days until cancelled.
  • We may reject, edit the placement of, or remove any listing that breaches these terms or our content standards, at our discretion.
  • Sponsored placement buys visibility in clearly marked sponsor slots. It does not buy inclusion, position or priority within indexed release records.

5. Intellectual property

The original editorial content on this site — the guides, the category pages, the site design and the taxonomy — belongs to Here's New. You may quote it with attribution and a link; you may not republish it wholesale.

Release entries reference third-party material. All product names, logos, trademarks and brands are the property of their respective owners, and their use here is descriptive, for identification purposes, and does not imply affiliation or endorsement. Short descriptive extracts from source publications are used with attribution and a link to the original. If you are a rights holder with a concern about any entry, contact us and we will act promptly.

Content you submit remains yours. By submitting it you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display, store and distribute it as part of the service.

6. Exported data

Exports in JSON, CSV, RSS and ICS format are provided for personal and internal use. You may not present exported data as your own original dataset, and any redistribution must retain the source attributions carried in the export.

7. External links

Entries link to external sites we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, security or availability of external destinations, and a link is not an endorsement.

8. Disclaimers

Nothing on this site is professional advice. In particular, nothing in the corporate finance or venture categories is financial or investment advice; nothing in the health and assistive devices category is medical advice; nothing in the policy and regulation category is legal advice; and nothing in the travel category should be relied on in place of checking official entry requirements. Always consult the primary source and, where appropriate, a qualified professional.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Here's New is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from reliance on information in the directory, from a missed date or deadline, from service interruption, or from the content or conduct of any third-party site linked here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Changes and termination

We may modify the service or these terms. Material changes will be signalled on the site and the date at the top of this page updated. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
